Deyn Scoops BFA Model of the Year
Agyness Deyn stole the show at last night’s British Fashion Awards, scooping the prize for Model of the Year.
Deyn collected her award in a stunning full-length black gown designed by close friend Giles Deacon. As she approached the microphone with her mobile, the Northern model announced: “It’s my mum on the phone,” before speaking into the receiver.
“Yes Mum, it’s like a fashion Oscar. Here, have a word with everyone.” As Deyn held the phone to the microphone the star studded crowd were greeted to shrills of delight.
Other winners on the night included Stella McCartney for Deisgner of the Year and Vivienne Westwood for Outstanding Achievment in Fashion Design.
