Mad as a Hatter

Has anyone ever told you, 'you’ve got a face for hats’? If so, you’re a lucky one. Hats played a top role in the catwalks for this winter, which is understandable in preparation for the inevitable rain. Dior experimented with leather Stetsons that horrifically matched both jacket and skirt, whilst Emporio Armani adapted the French beret to stylize their dark romantic look. Miss Sixty, on the other hand, used an oversized slouching beanie and weird elbow length wrist warmers to contrast outrageous floor length prom dresses. Clearly, any hat’s a winner.
So, the hard part now is finding one that suits you. Beanies look great with baggy boy shaped jeans and a simple white tee for a casual shopping trip in the city, while the beret works with a knee length over coat and some killer high heels for that impressionable first date. Just remember the horrific aftermath of looking so sassy...hat hair. I’m afraid there is no cure, so it is advisable to keep the hat on at all times, or suffer the awkward looks from passers by at your dishevelled barnet.
