Fashion vs Function

The age old battle between what is practical and what looks good has finally come to an end. Well…at least for all fun loving festival goers and other such boot wearing general public. Our favourite high heel and sexy pumps designer Jimmy Choo has teamed up with the quintessentially British brand Hunter to create some seriously sexy wellington boots (I never thought I’d allow ‘sexy’ and ‘wellington boots’ to appear in the same sentence…I now stand corrected!). These stylish yet sensible booties have the rubber build of the classic Hunter, and yet the touch of class from Choo. Black glossy crocodile print combined with the divine leopard print lining and gold buckles set these limited edition lovelies apart from all other meagre wellies. Oh, and if you’re upset that others may just think they are ordinary black cast-off boots, never fear, as they come with unique identification plates that show the collaboration of the two formidable fashion forces.

To be one of the first to grab a pair, go to www.jimmychoo.com on 1st May 2009 and join the waiting list. The boots will be sold as from June 2009.
