Fashion Rocks the Albert Hall
A host of stars turned out for the Swarovski Fashion Rocks event at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Kate Moss wore a 1920’s style frock for the occasion, containing 60,000 Swarovski crystals, and valued at £40,000. Kate designed the dress with Topshop especially for the night, and the item is set to be auctioned on internet site eBay.
Samuel L. Jackson and Kill Bill starlet Uma Thurman hosted the show, which delivered a unique blend of music and fashion. Alicia Keys performed ‘No One’ for Armani, whilst Razorlight took to the stage for Burberry. Other stars to perform in the name of fashion included The Gossip performing ‘Yr Mangled Heart’ for Christopher Kane, and Lily Allen singing ‘LDN’ for Chanel.
One of the shows highlights was Dame Shirley Bassey, belting out favourites such as ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Hey Big Spender’ for Marchesa and Valention.
Naomi Campbell was the most outrageously dressed, wearing a see through number that left little to the imagination. The event was held to raise money for the Prince’s Trust.
